eCommerce Insights connects to Shopify through the admin API, reads WooCommerce and Amazon Seller Central catalogs, audits Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow storefronts by URL, and streams crawler-access events over the pingback protocol.

Catalog integrations

Catalog integrations give eCommerce Insights your product data — titles, descriptions, variants, structured data — so scans and scores resolve to real SKUs. Shopify is the deepest: read plus approved write-back (Early access). WooCommerce and Amazon Seller Central are read-and-recommend. Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow storefronts are audited by URL with nothing to install.

Event streaming

The pingback protocol streams crawler-access events from your edge to Agent Lens, so you see which AI bots actually fetch your PDPs — not just which ones robots.txt permits.

Which integration to start with

Shopify or Shopify Plus store: connect Shopify first; everything else layers on top.
Selling on Amazon too: add Seller Central to route those SKUs to Rufus scoring.
Hosted site builder: run URL audits via the Wix/Squarespace/Webflow path.
Want ground-truth crawler data: wire the pingback protocol once the catalog connection is live.

Common questions

Which integration is the deepest?

Shopify. It reads products, variants, metafields, and collections through the admin API, and on the Growth plan and above can write approved title, description, and metafield changes back (Early access). Other channels are read-and-recommend.

Do I need a developer to connect my store?

No. Shopify and WooCommerce connect in under five minutes from the dashboard. Amazon Seller Central uses read-only Selling Partner API authorization. Wix, Squarespace, and Webflow storefronts are audited by URL with no install at all.

Can eCommerce Insights write changes to channels other than Shopify?

Not currently. Every channel gets recommendations and CSV export; write-back is Shopify-only and Early access. The roadmap is tracked in the changelog.

What is the pingback protocol?

A lightweight event stream that forwards AI-crawler hits from your edge (Cloudflare Workers, nginx) to eCommerce Insights, so Agent Lens shows which bots actually fetch your PDPs rather than only what robots.txt permits. See the pingback protocol page for setup.
