Every SKU gets a eCommerce Insights Score between 0 and 100, built from five factors: structured data completeness, citation surface, entity clarity, answer coverage, and review signal. 03 · Fix

Concrete changes, pushed to Shopify.

For each SKU that scores below the threshold you set, eCommerce Insights produces a diff: a proposed new title, description, bullet set, schema block, and metafield values. A merchandiser reviews the diff, edits if needed, and approves. eCommerce Insights then writes the change to Shopify through the admin API — or exports it as a CSV if you prefer to ship it yourself. Does eCommerce Insights work with Shopify Plus?
Yes. eCommerce Insights connects to Shopify and Shopify Plus through the admin API. We read your product catalog, variants, metafields, and collections. Shopify Plus shops get the same eCommerce Insights features plus higher SKU limits on the Shelf and Warehouse plans. Installation takes under five minutes and does not require a developer.
How is eCommerce Insights different from brand-level AI tracking tools like Profound or ?
Profound, Brandlight, and similar tools track whether your brand name appears in AI answers. eCommerce Insights tracks whether your specific SKUs appear — and on which queries, on which engines, with which citations. Brand-level tracking tells you that AI mentioned you. SKU-level tracking tells you which product made the cut and what to change for the ones that did not.
Do I need an SEO team to use eCommerce Insights?
No. eCommerce Insights ships concrete PDP recommendations — title, description, bullets, schema, metafield suggestions — that a merchandiser or ecommerce manager can action directly. A VP of SEO will use eCommerce Insights more deeply, but the core workflow does not require one. The recommendations are always human-approved before any change lands in Shopify.
How often does eCommerce Insights refresh SKU visibility data?
Seed plans refresh weekly. Shelf and Warehouse plans refresh daily. Each refresh checks your SKUs across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, and Copilot against a rotating query bank tuned to your catalog's categories. You see change-over-time charts per SKU and per engine from the first scan.
Can eCommerce Insights push changes directly to my Shopify store?
Yes, on the Shelf plan and above. Shopify push is currently Early access: eCommerce Insights writes approved title, description, and metafield changes through the Shopify admin API after a human approves the diff. Every change is logged, reversible, and attributed to the user who approved it. The recommendation-only mode stays available if you prefer to ship changes yourself.

Seed is $99 per month for single-brand Shopify stores up to 500 SKUs. Shelf is $349 per month for growth-stage Shopify and Shopify Plus brands with up to 2,500 SKUs, daily refresh, and Shopify push.
