Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. The 14-day eCommerce Insights trial doesn't require a credit card. You sign up with a work email, connect your Shopify store, and eCommerce Insights runs the first scan. If you decide not to continue at day 14, the trial simply lapses — nothing is charged and no credit card is ever collected during trial.
What happens after the 14-day trial ends?
At day 14, eCommerce Insights prompts you to pick a plan — Seed, Shelf, or Warehouse — or let the trial lapse. If the trial lapses, scanning stops and your data is retained read-only for 30 days so you can still export it. Pick a plan and scans resume on the schedule of your chosen tier.
Is my Shopify data safe during the trial?
Yes. eCommerce Insights connects through the official Shopify admin API with scoped permissions. eCommerce Insights reads product, variant, metafield, and collection data. No customer data, order data, or payment data is read. All data in transit is TLS-encrypted and at rest is encrypted per standard cloud practice. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
Can I invite teammates during the trial?
Yes. You can invite up to three teammates on the trial — merchandisers, SEO team members, or agency partners. Each teammate gets a role (admin, editor, or viewer) that carries over if you convert to a paid plan. Invited teammates do not need a credit card either.
