Helps With Lighter Fluid Evaporation But Not Perfect.Do you have a Zippo that you just filled with lighter fluid, and somehow no longer have fluid the next time you use it? That's because of evaporation from the big hole in the bottom of the insert. This item fits over that hole and seals it up. This is really easy to install. First, use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew the bottom of your Zippo insert, then place this gasket seal over that area, screw it back on, and fill with lighter fluid to the "top", and that's it. So COOL!.My zippo lasts a good 2-2.5 weeks in my pocket, with regular but not constant use. Without them, the same zippo makes it a week, maybe 10 days if I don't use it as much.

Already getting worn out 3mo.While standard zippo inserts seem to last forever, this one is starting to get fiddily after only a few months. The lever arm is starting to loosen causing interruptions in the gas flow. Shame, since it was such a cool little gadget.

Brilliant!.This insert is nothing short of brilliant. It gives you both a butane torch, like a lighter and a yellow light lighter in one. I love the butane torch lighters, but you cant melt the end of a rope with one because they dont keep burning without your finger on it, this one does. You cant use a butane torch lighter as an emergency light, this one you can. it keeps the flame burning until you close the lid. Brilliant. Simply brilliant!!!

Good thought.When I saw this, I thought it was a good idea. Anti-evaporating for Zippo lighter. Common sense should have told me that the fuel is coming through the wick. I still got them and even though I don't see a difference in the fuel, I have a better place for my extra flint
