Introduced hum.Added enough hum to be unusable. Volume adjust is tedious and requires a plastic screwdriver, which is supplied. There's no storage for the screwdriver. Annoying.

GREAT FOR INSTALLING SUBS W/ OEM RADIO.Just as the title says, if you want to hook up some subwoofers to your amplifier but can't because your OEM radio doesn't have sub out connections (like in my 2014 Ford Focus), you can use this to splice into your speaker wires and boom you have a connection for your amp/subs! Play around with the gain setting, don't have it too high otherwise your music will come across WAAAY too bass heavy when it shouldn't be. Great product 10/10

Choose a better brand..When I first installed it, it worked great for the first month. Thought it was poor wiring, so I rewired everything. Worked for a couple days, then as I was driving it cut out and legit sounded like a heartbeat going faster with each beat. It was like being in a horror movie. But I wouldnt expect more from Scosche. Think its better they stick to single/double din radio kits. Choose a better brand.

It did it's job!.I installed in a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek to add a sub and amp to the factory system. I attached the input to the rear speaker wires and the ignition hot and ground to the stereo inputs. It required no tweaking whatsoever! The connected remote I just ran to the glove box. While a bit of a pain to install, I'm sure any other brand would have been equally difficult.

Surprisingly powerful!.I purchased two of these items for use in a couple of my older vehicles, upon installing I was surprised at how powerful this little unit can be. One unit is paired up to a inline amplifier and two kicker 12s the other unit is powering a set of 6 by 9 kicker speakers all on their own. Very good quality.
