Hue Addict.Im a big fan of the Hue line. They are pricier than some similar products, but I feel like you cant beat the ease of set-up and use - plus the quality and color range are outstanding. Im not a big TV fan - I bought these for ambient light, setting them up behind my bar. Once I installed a hub, it literally takes 1 minute to add a light. Its a small luxury to have beautiful ambient lighting in my home.

Doesnt sync correctly with my other hue lights.Ive never had an issue with my 10+ hue lights. Then I decided to purchase these refurbished. The refurbished lights malfunction and do not play the theme I set for my entire home. Very disappointed.

Product looks used although package does not.It works well. The packaging was also in perfect condition. But the product seemed like it was used.

Hue light bars!.I recently purchased the Hue HDMI sync box. And I set up lights behind the TV and in my living room. These light bars were a great addition. I placed them behind my television in the combination of all the lights makes it a great set up for entertainment, I love the integration of all of the hue Phillips ecosystem I would definitely recommend.

Stronger and brighter than expected.I am using these as wall wash lights in my home theater. They provide a nice warm, indirect light when the lights are on, and then I can flip them to low-power red for watching movies in a dark room. I was surprised that only two of them could smoothly wash a pretty large wall evenly, when placed a few feet away. So it has a very nice, diffused light. You can't see the individual LEDs when it is on, so the frosted plastic is of very high quality. In other ways it is a typical Hue product, good

Hue Sync App is Total Garbage on M1 Macs. The Hue Sync App is fundamentally broken on M1 Macs. When the app is working it is very nice functionally, but on at least a daily basis it goes haywire and runs in an infinite loop, consuming 100% CPU. This is not a new problem because there are plenty of online reports of the exact same behavior from over a year ago and Hue has not fixed the issue. This lack of support and response from Hue to such an egregious flaw is disturbing and erases a lot of the functionality that these lights provide.

By far, the worst user experience ever!.I did eventually make it work, but setup was horrible! I went with Hue expecting compatibility with StreamDeck, among other things. Now that it is set up, connecting to Stream Deck does work. Still, there's no way to fix the difficulty I had setting up the damned hub. Time will tell if they brick this hue system like they did earlier generations. Save your money, get ANY OTHER SMART LIGHT BUT THIS!
