Galaxy S21 Ultra Compatibility Issue.I just purchased the Garmin Mini 2. The Garmin Drive app does not work well with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It has trouble connecting to wi-fi; therefore, I am unable to view video/photo content and Live View. There should be a list of uncompatible phones on the Garmin website and product description. Using my tablet, the app works well, but I don't travel with my tablet every day.

The bane of bad, dishonest drivers everywhere.Theres nothing like capturing the bad decisions of idiots on the road and being able to laugh at them in the privacy of my car. I also wont have to worry about getting screwed over if someone hits my car and they lie about it. :)

Ease of use.This is a good choice but Ive found that it isnt designed for multi vehicle use. The mounting base is adhesive and with no additional mounting hardware for other vehicles. Youll need to design your own custom mounting system for your other vehicles.

Buying a Second.Good video, audio, and picture quality. "Accident Detection" works great when hard breaking or quick direction changes. Updated app works well. Buying a second one for my wife's car.

Great at First, Very Problematic with Time.I thought eliminating the screen would be nice for simplicity and design. The lack of screen proves to be problematic because after 8 months of use, I'm not always 100% sure the camera is recording or if its actually functioning . It routinely restarts abruptly with multicolored led warning lights. I've started to notice large gaps of time in recordings and noticed it wasn't actually recording with the red led indicated it was. I tried to use the voice command and button to save a recording an

Falls short for the exorbitent price charged.After much research, and previously having a Vantru, I decided on this Garmin. One would figure an aid to transportation from Garmin would be fantastic, however the following is what I've found to be lacking with this device: - The buttons: They are located on the Right side of the device. The buttons constantly get in the way when you're attempting to adjust the camera. I've had to reformat my memory card multiple times due to constantly pressing the SAVE button when adjusting the camera. Due

Met my expectations.I wanted a small, reasonably priced, camera that I could hide behind the rear view mirror. This is perfect. The video is perfectly acceptable for capturing what's happening day or night. The mobile app is very easy to set up and use. I recommend at least a 128gb memory card.

The 57's bitrate downgraded to 20mbps @ 1440p. The 56's video bitrate is ~30mbps @ 1440p..I used to love Garmin products: - The GPS units back in the day were top notch. - Then, Garmin's dash cameras, up to the 56 were pretty good between 2019-2020. However, over the last 1-2 years, the prices have increased and there has been a lack of innovation. - I have been waiting for a 4k dash camera for sometime and Garmin has yet to deliver. Features I would love to see from Garmin/wish-list: - Optical image stabilization - Super capacitor - Faster Wi-Fi performance (it is horribly slow) -

Didn't last one year.At first, I thought this dash was just right. But at 7 months, it froze up with just a solid green light. It will never to responds to any button presses, cannot connect to it nor can it be found by Garmin Express on the computer after trying many times to update its software or reset it. This is too much to flush down the toilet after only 7 months of service.
