Great radar detector, for those who take the time to set it up ....This is a great little radar detector. Great features, at a good price. It's not necessary to spend +$400 on up, to have good protection. But, at the same time, a person needs to spend a few minutes reading the (18 page, pdf file) owners' manual, and learn how to set it up, for your area/driving style. I read some folks (including tech reviewers) complaining about getting a lot of 'false alerts'. It tells me that they don't have theirs set up right. And I know tons of folks who are too lazy to r

It Hates Hondas.I originally purchased this product because of the brand name Cobra. I thought I was going to get a quality radar detector with very few false alarms. Boy was I mistaken! This radar detector gives a false alarm every time I get within spitting distance of a Honda or a Subaru. I'm going to sell this and make it someone else's problem. I don't know what I will go with yet but it won't be a Cobra.

Requires Paid subscription for Red lights and speed camera alerts.I am returning mine, because of what they don't tell you about Red light and Speed camera detection subscription fees. I don't need another monthly bill.

Wow, this thing rocks for the price..First things first, you will get a lot of false alerts unless you turn off the K band alerts. After you turn that off you should be fine. I opened this in my truck and set it up right away with my wife. About two minutes after I set up the app and powered it on, it started going off. I was still sitting in my drive way so, I started thinking great, its broken out of the box. As I sat there trying to mute it and figure out why it was going off a cop drove right past my house. Waste.Is very good detecting ATM and Automatic doors but I think is scare of police because many pass next to me and no alert at all

Not even a year into using it and the LCD died..Can't see anything on the LCD anymore as it stopped working. Wasn't even a year into use before it started happening. Now it's unreadable.
