REMOTE DOESN'T WORK.I had the Ford dealership program the key. They couldn't get the remote start to work or the buttons to lock/unlock the doors. I then went home and programmed the 2nd key. The same thing happened. I couldn't get the buttons on the key fob to lock/unlock or remote start the truck.

Stopped functioning day 2.After buying the key, paying to have it cut and programmed $$$ the key fob functions stopped working the second day. The key still works for ignition functions but not of the fob functions work. Tried new battery and relearning the fob without success.

No chip in key cut key wouldn't program because no chip. Cost me more and didn't work..Couldn't use no chip in key to program sent back.

Instructions are not for programming key, just the fob.Great product easy to program fob, but not not the actual key.

Remote worked, but key too large to fit ignition..I purchased this for my mothers car, as a spare because she onmy got 1 key and 1 remote when she bought the car. This was listed for her 2007 Ford Taurus, and the remote did program and work correctly, however the size of the case made this impossible to fit in the ignition after having the key cut. Luckily the locksmith that cut the key and programmed the transponder tested it before she paid, because when he realized this was too big to fit the ignition, he was nice enough to not charge her th

To get the buttons working on the remote I needed to do this also:.I copied this from a Ford Website. It was how I got the buttons working. Close the car doors, then open the driver-side door. Press the UNLOCK button on the driver-side door. Next, turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times. Do this within 10 seconds, making sure the 8th time ends on RUN. When youve entered programming mode, the door locks will lock and unlock. (Note: If the doors dont cycle, turn the key faster. Your car may not have keyless entry if you still cant get the door locks to cycle.
